So the real one has a place to take

Here is an essay about why the poem She Walks in Beauty by Lord Byron is considered great.

What makes a poem „great”?

I’m doing She walks in Beauty by Lord Bryon, which is basically a poem about a beautiful girl who the poet compares to different elements of the night. It also says that she is beautiful from the inside and the outside.

This poem is considered great for many reasons. One is, because it has so much imagery in forms of metaphors in it. For example he says that “she walks in beauty, like the night, of cloudless climate and starry skies.” This means that she is so beautiful that you can not find a tiny little mistake on her.

The poet also shows that love is a real thing, because he is the one thinking about this woman like she is the night. He sees her like this because he is in love with her. He describes her in way nobody else can see her which makes her unique for him. This is seen in the poet where nobody else would describe that particular woman like he did. For example: “Where thoughts serenely sweet express how pure, how dear their dwelling-place.” This part means that she is sweet, but very, very calm. This is a way ass only the poet could have described these treatments.

It is also considered great because of the huge amount of feelings inside this poem. It makes you feel every single thing he feels and makes you see things the same way he sees them. For example: “A mind at peace with all below, a heart whose love is innocent.” This is a quote with a lot of feelings; because of it describing the girl with a lot of good treatments with are full of feelings.

This poem shows a lot about love, because basically the whole poem is about it. It also makes you realize the something like this really might exist. I personally like to read this poem, but for an English class it is not the easiest. This is, because it is not the easiest poem to interpret.
